The murder case of Abdul Majid Al-Khoei is going to be opened again by the Iraqi government. Mowafaq Al-Rubai'i, the Iraqi National Security Adviser, spoke with a family member of Al-Khoei a few days ago and confirmed that the Iraqi government has plans to re-open the case which was closed by Ibrahim Al-Ja'fari. Ja'fari was in desperate need of Moqtada, who is the chief suspect in the murder and has an arrest warrant in his name, and his political clout in order to defeat his challenger Adel Abdul Mehdi in the prime-ministerial election that was held by the UIA. Ja'afri won 64 votes to 63.
For over a week now members of the Mehdi Army here in Najaf have been stockpiling weapons in a move that can mean nothing else but preparation for a show-down with Iraqi government forces.
The Sadr "museum" near the shrine and a mosque opposite the house of Mohammed Baqir Al-Sistani (the younger son of the Grand Ayatollah) in 'Hweish' also not far from the shrine are only two locations that have been used by the Mehdi Army to store weapons, which include RPG's and heavy machine guns. The weapons are being brought into the city via coffins of the Mehdi Army militia who have been killed in recent clashes with government forces. There are reports that the "museum" is also being used to stockpile food.
I just spoke to a well-placed source in Baghdad who says "its now or never, the government is serious about the militia problem, expect raids to be carried out in Najaf and Kerbala in the coming days". The Iraqi Army was supposed to carry out raids in Najaf searching for heavy weapons in suspected 'hot spots' but they were planned the day Riyadh Al-Noori was killed and were called off as a result.

من الواضح أن قضية مقتل عبد المجيد الخوئي صارت قميص عثمان الذي أستخدمه معاوية في التجيير من أجل أهداف سياسية ..
المرحوم مجيد الخوئي كان يحمل الجنسية الإيرانية ولقي حتفه بالعراق في ظل أيام الفوضى التي ضربت العراق بعد سقوط الصنم .. لهذا فأن من حق إيران رفع دعوة قضائية بخصوص أحد مواطنيها لكن يا ترى ما دخل مقتدى الصدر بهذه القضية ؟
هل سيأخذ القضاء الإيراني مرة أخرى بوشايات المجلس الاعلى لآل الحكيم أم بالأجندة الامريكية والتي جيّروا قضية عبد المجيد الخوئي وجعلوها قميص عثمان للنيل من الصدر؟
ثم من جهة أخرى لا تحضى قضية مجيد الخوئي على أي تأييد شعبي بسبب أنه الله يرحمه أقدم على حماية مدير أمن النجف المجرم حيدر الكليدار ومنع الناس المظلومة من أخذ ثأرهم منه ... كما أن عبد المجيد الخوئي كذب على السيد السيستاني حينما إدعى وعلى الفضائيات والتسجيل مازال موجوداً من أنه يحمل فتوى منه بالتعاون قدر الامكان مع القوات الامريكية وعدم التعرض لها ؟! الامر الذي كذبه مكتب السيد السيستاني على لسان ولده محمد رضا من إنهم لم يصدروا أي فتوى من هذا القبيل ..

EVERY SINGLE WITNESS there is proves that it was by moqtada's orders that the shaheed sayed abdul majeed al-khoei was murdered. dont give me rubbish that it is the case of Othman's shirt cos EVERYONE know's it was moqtada who ordered the killing of sayed majeed! if ur even gonna start with the talk that "no he didnt" then all i have 2 say is was it saddam who killed all the innocent iraqis by hand? or did he give his orders 2 kill them? riyadh al noori is one of the people who all the ppl in najaf saw and knew that he was the one who killed sayed majeed, so that means it was moqtada who gave the order! dim wit!!!!

The Iraqi government simply wants to use the case as leverage when it comes to dealing with the Sadrists.
For them, this about politics not justice. If it was, they wouldn't have shelved the case. My father was not the only one murdered by the Sadrists, if the government really cared about justice they would open the cases of those who perished in Sadr's Sharia Courts.
No, there is no link between my presence and Rubai'is wishes to open the case.
I believe very strongly in the phrase "what goes around, comes around".
I am patient and know that one day, not too distant in the future every one involved in my fathers murder will be either behind bars or dead.

الذين تم إعتقالهم هم الشهيد رياض النوري (الذي قتل قبل حوالي إسبوعين) والسيد مصطفى اليعقوبي وبعض من أقاربه .. هؤلاء هم الذين إتهموا بقضية حادثة عبد المجيد الخوئي .. وقد تمت تبرئة ساحتهم من القضية وأفرج عنهم .. فكيف إذاً أصبح السيد مقتدى الصدر مطلوباً للأمريكان وللحكومة على غفلة !!

Moqtada Sadr has an arrest warrant in his name. When I get back to London, I will scan and publish it on my blog. The criminal Riyadh Al-Nuri was not cleared, he was set free by Ja'fari.
Of course the case has become political. That is something obvious for all to see. Rubai'i is like Ja'fari, he wants to use this case for his own agenda.
Having said that, a murder was committed, the murderer(s) must be punished.
